KampKiepie ("we", "us", "our") operates a website that lists and helps travellers discover camping, caravan, glamping, and other accommodation options across South Africa ("the Platform"). By using the Platform, you agree to these Terms of Use.
KampKiepie is a directory and, for participating resorts, a booking facilitator. We are not the owner or operator of any resort, campsite, or accommodation listed on the Platform. Each listing is operated independently by its own owner or manager, who is solely responsible for the accuracy of their listing, the condition of their property, and the fulfilment of any booking.
Some resorts allow you to book directly through KampKiepie. Where this is the case, your booking contract is with the resort, not with KampKiepie — we facilitate the transaction but are not a party to the accommodation agreement itself. Other resorts direct you to contact them directly or use an external booking platform; KampKiepie has no involvement in those bookings at all.
Cancellation policies, deposit requirements, and refund terms are set by each individual resort, not by KampKiepie.
We ask resort owners to keep their listings accurate and up to date, but we cannot guarantee that every detail (pricing, availability, amenities, photos) is current at all times. Please confirm important details directly with the resort before finalising travel plans.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, KampKiepie is not liable for any loss, damage, or dispute arising from your stay at, or booking with, any listed resort. Our role is limited to providing the directory and, where applicable, the booking facility itself.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
